Biography

Einar Iveroth is Associate Professor (docent) and Excellent Teacher at Uppsala University, where he conducts research, teaches, and frequently delivers public lectures in his areas of expertise. His scholarly work centers on change—how it manifests, how it is led, and how it interacts with key organizational levers such as governance, control, leadership, strategic pricing, and digitalization.

His recent books include: ”Leading Digital Transformation: Management, Governance and Control”, "Leadership and Digital Change: The Digitalization Paradox", “Effective Organizational Change: Leading through Sensemaking”, and Digitalisering & Styrning (in Swedish).

Beyond books, Einar has published extensively in leading international journals. He also serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board associated with Ekonomistyrningsforum, the organization behind the annual Controllerdagen conference. At this event, leaders from business, the public sector, and academia convene to debate the frontiers of management control. Before joining Uppsala University, Einar gained experience in both the private and public sectors, working on organizational development, innovation management, and improving work environments. In his off time, he finds solace in the archipelago: building, fishing, cooking, and reading — often from the comfort of a hammock.

Einar is mainly engaged in the following courses at different academic levels.
