Biography
My main research areas are market integration and regulations, second-hand retail and pawnbroking, consumption and credits from the 18th century onwards. I have written on, among other things, the church and its endowments in institutional creditor and financier, the development of pawn-broking in Sweden in relation to the development of other systems, and the role of auctions in relation to the transformation of society in the 18th and 19th century. In labour market and employment, I have studied the regulation of European integration and industrial relations, the European social sector dialogue, industrial relations in SMEs and in the service sector.
I am, together with one colleague, start it up a project, calling Markets and economic decline. Marketplaces, economic regulations and social transformation in Sverige 1700-1900.
