Cell and Molecular Biology
Research focuses on the chemical, molecular and structural backgrounds of cellular processes, ie. from cells to photons.
Ecology and Genetics
We conduct both basic and applied research in the fields of ecology and evolution.
Organismal Biology
The Department of Organismal Biology is a part of the Evolutionary Biology Centre. The Department has about one hundred employees and our research is focused on developmental biology, systematics, evolution and physiology of living organisms.
