Global Value Chains Resilience: Governance in Sensitive Sectors

This project investigates how different forms of governance can strengthen resilience in global value chains (GVCs). The study identifies important trade-offs and strategies for strategic sectors by analyzing the interplay between governance forms and structural, geographical and relational factors in GVCs.

With a focus on the Swedish antibiotics and automotive industries and a multi-method approach, our results will deepen understanding of strategic questions about how different dimensions of GVCs can be balanced to strengthen resilience in a time of increasing geopolitical uncertainty.
