Description
Using patent data and text analysis of annual reports, the study analyses companies’ varying degrees of AI usage across different functions and its impact on economic value creation, level of innovation, and changes in workforce composition.
Focusing on Sweden and including cross-country comparisons, the research provides insights into when and whether AI generates value.
The aim is to advance existing research by offering a more nuanced understanding of AI’s opportunities and challenges, and to provide guidance for companies and decision-makers in connection with its implementation.
