Uppsala is well connected to Stockholm Arlanda airport (ARN) (20 min) and Stockholm (40 min), by train.

Trains from Stockholm or ARN to Uppsala C are operated by three different companies: UL, SJ and Mälartåg.

Train tickets can be purchased in the Pressbyrån shops and on internet. You cannot buy tickets on the train.

After arriving to Uppsala, the Ångström laboratory is an approx. 35 minutes nice walk (3 km) along the Fyris creek from Uppsala city center, or 15 minutes by bus (bus no. 4, leaving from bus stop B4 at Uppsala Central station), or 10 min by taxi.

Please note that bus tickets can be paid by credit card on the bus, but not by cash.
