At the Department of Chemistry - Ångström Laboratory, we offer the doctoral subjects listed below.

The department's PhD council is a forum for the PhD students to come together, discuss possible issues, and/or raise concerns. You are welcome to bring any subject that concerns PhD students of the department, e.g. topics that you want discussed by seniors and/or the department board. There are three meetings per semester and all meetings are held in English.

The council consists of:

  • 1 representative from each research programme
  • 1 representative from the equal opportunity group
  • 1 representative from the work environment group
  • 1 representative from TDNR (the faculty PhD council)
  • 2 ombudspeople
  • The 4 elected PhD representatives on the department board (which are also responsible for organising the meetings).

It is important that all research programmes are represented in the council, so if you are interested in joining do not hesitate to contact the people mentioned below to get more information.
