Andreas Orthaber group
How non-metallic elements such as phosphorus and arsenic affect the optical and electronic properties of molecules.
Our research
Our research within Orthaber's group concerns how main group elements (non-metallic elements such as phosphorus and arsenic) affect the optical and electronic properties of pi-conjugated molecules. We use various experimental and theoretical methods to study these compounds.
We are also investigating how the compounds can be used in homogeneous catalysis and organic electronics.
We are supported by the Lars Hiertas memorial funds, ÅForsk, Olle-Engkvist's foundation, Carl Tryggers Stiftelse, and the Swedisch Research council.
