Education at Erken Laboratory
Water education days
We implement water education days at the field station for school classes from pre-school to secondary school level and also provide material that can be used in the schools.
The water days are much more than an excursion, but build on approved pedagogical concepts.
Education for teachers
We offer courses in Swedish for primary and secondary school teachers.
Research school
The research school is a 3-week course aimed at students in the age between 16-19. It consists of a series of lectures and practical sessions, but mainly of a 100 hour long research project that the students plan, execute and report in pairs. In the end the results are presented in a written report, a poster and an oral presentation.
The research school has been implemented since 2002 and are much appreciated by the students as well as the teachers. Participating students gain valuable contacts and research experience and many of them are still in touch with us.
