Kaska Koltowska, PhD
Scientific Director
Kaska is dedicated to fostering a dynamic scientific environment that encourages collaboration and scientific interaction. The key to achieving this is the establishment of robust state-of-the-art facilities. Kaska has been actively engaged in zebrafish research since her doctoral studies, and over the course of her career, she has been working in prestigious research institutions around the world. As an Associate Professor at Uppsala University, one of her objectives is to apply her international expertise to enhance the scientific landscape. DanioReadout offers an outstanding platform for realising this objective.
Beata Filipek-Gorniok, PhD
Operational Director
Beata has twelve years of experience working with the zebrafish embryonic model and nearly seven years of working with CRISPR/Cas9 technology. She has gained extensive experience in project leading and coordination while working with more than forty research groups, specialization in genome engineering, developmental studies, genetic disease modelling and more recently, cancer cells xenotransplantations.
Amin Allalou, PhD
Researcher in image analysis and AI
Amin has a long experience working with developing image analysis and quantification methods for various types of microscopy image data. He also has extensive experience working with and developing imaging techniques for high-throughput screening in zebrafish.
