Welcome to the Department of Materials Science and Engineering
At the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, we work to find technical solutions in sustainability and energy and other areas that improve human living conditions. We offer interdisciplinary education at different levels and conduct advanced research at our seven research divisions.
The department has access to modern laboratory infrastructure and actively collaborates with companies and other universities, in Sweden and the rest of the world.
