Our department brings together innovative researchers, talented students and state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative environment.
Materials science is interdisciplinary and includes mathematics, physics, chemistry and engineering. It has applications in all industries and areas of society, such as IT and digitalisation, electronics and microsensors, healthcare and medicine, energy generation and storage, construction, transport and manufacturing.
