Solid State Physics

The Division of Solid State Physics is part of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.

At the Division of Solid State Physics, we conduct both fundamental and application-oriented research related to energy and environmental aspects and life sciences through our different research areas.

Welcome to the Division of Solid State Physics

Our research is related to energy and environmental aspects and life sciences through our different research areas. Mostly we investigate physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials and compounds whether they will be used as coatings in chromogenic devices, electro/photocatalysis, gas sensors, transparent conducting oxides, spintronics and biomagnetic applications or to create new magnetic materials for green energy technologies.
