REaL

A (R)oadmap to (E)xecutive Function (a)nd (L)anguage

We investigate how infants’ active exploration and their social environment influences cognitive and language development. This longitudinal project follows 210 children from the ages of 9 months to 2 years. It applies a wide range of different measurements, such as behavioral paradigms, eye tracking, motion capture and EEG. REaL focusses on the early development of cognition and language. With this project, we aim to develop early interventions to support cognitive and language development.
