The thesis Emancipation and Christian Feminism: A Critical Study in Ethics of Subjectivity, Vulnerability, and Relationality is a critical review of contemporary Christian feminist theology. The study focuses on how various interpretations of subjectivity, vulnerability and relationality influence feminist understandings of liberation.
Johan Elfström
John Rawls’ idea of a public reason is a theory about democratic decision making. This thesis (Reconceiving Public Reason: Neutrality, Civility, and the Self-Defeat Objection) tests the sustainability of some of the arguments against Rawls’ theory, and gives a constructive proposal for a further development of the theory of public reason.
