Ida Simonsson
Doctor of Theology Ida Simonsson defended her thesis in October 2021. The dissertation is entitled The Order of Value. Christian Theology and the Market Economy. The thesis examines the relationship between Christian theology and market economics by focusing particularly on value theory. It is an analysis of historical lines of development as well as contemporary texts on theology and economics, which leads to an argument that 'value' is a theological-economic complex.
Cecilia Samuelsson
Doctor of Theology Cecilia Samuelsson defended her thesis in March 2022. The dissertation’s Swedish title is translated Fragile subjects and apophatic journeys. A feminist theological study of Swedish contemporary literature. The work moves in the borderland between worldview studies, literary studies and feminist research, and touches on existential problems in relation to women's experiences of being denied as subjects.
Tobias Andersson
Doctor of Theology Tobias Andersson defended his thesis september 2022. The dissertation’s Swedish title is translated Commentary on Sanusi. A Systematic Study of Islamic Theology. The work is a study of theological commentary literature and its significance for contemporary Islamic theology – especially in European contexts – with a focus on Muḥammad b. Yūsuf al-Sanūsī (d. 895/1490) and the commentary tradition surrounding his teachings.
