Uppsala University’s alumni network was closed for a few weeks in March while the old database was updated for a new alumni system. The new system launched in early April and now you can once again login.

Uppsala University’s alumni network is for everyone who has studied, works or has worked at the University and others who are associated with the University. The network began in 2003 and has grown steadily. Today over 26,000 alumni in more than 130 countries around the world are connected to the network. The network includes a growing alumni and senior chapters and local chapters around the world. Many of the chapters arrange regular reunions, lectures, pub evenings, anniversaries and other activities for their members.

“Everyone in the alumni network can keep contact with Uppsala University and hopefully has discovered the benefits offered by contacts through the alumni and international chapters offer around the world,” says Sarah Havrén Schütz, alumni coordinator at Uppsala University’s Development Office.

As a member of the alumni network, you will receive regular updates about research, education and what is happening at the University through Uppsala University’s newsletter and magazine. You will also receive offers and invitations to events at the University and from the alumni chapters you choose to join.

“By joining one or more alumni chapters, you can maintain and renew contact with your former classmates,” says Sarah Havrén Schütz.
