Alumni meeting in Beijing
In conjunction with the visit by the Matariki University Network to China in May, Uppsala University invited Alumni in Beijing to a reception at Grand Hyatt Hotel on May 24. Approximately 50 Alumni in various ages accepted the invitation.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Anders Malmberg welcomed everyone together with representatives from the other member universities in the Matariki Network (Darthmouth College, Durham University, Queen’s University, University of Otago, University of Tübingen, The University of Western Austrialia samt Uppsala universitet).
This is the first time that the network arranges a joint event and the possibility to meet with alumni from other well renowned universities was something that was highly appreciated among the alumni from Uppsala.
