GaW on a field trip in Uppland

Caroline Lindroth, Anton Runesson, Karin Hassan Jansson, and Maria Ågren listen to Örjan Kardell who lectures in the forest.

On Monday, April 20th, we were out walking in the sun in the province of Uppland, Sweden. Our knowledgeable guide, Örjan Kardell, showed us charcoal stacks, ancient castles, and a wolf pit. To wind up the day, we had dinner with our colleagues at the Department of History. At the dinner, we thanked Örjan for his services, as he has now resigned his appointment in GaW. We will miss him, and we wish him good luck in the future!
