Super-ADAM
Super-ADAM is a neutron reflectometer operated as a Swedish national research infrastructure at the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) in Grenoble, France. Super-ADAM is suited to investigate thin films and nanostructures with typical thicknesses between below 1 nm and up to hundreds of nanometres. Research areas in which neutrons and the instrument perform particularly well are the quantification and depth distribution of light elements, soft matter, solid-liquid interfaces as well as the magnetisation in thin films.
Uppsala University hosts Super-ADAM in collaboration with Linköping University and Lund University.
The Council for Research Infrastructures (RFI) funds this research infrastructure, which the Swedish Research Council considers to be in the national interest.
