As part of the Disciplinary Domain’s internationalisation efforts and work with Regardless of Background, we offer Medfarm’s staff and doctoral students a workshop series on cultural competence every year.

The workshop leaders are Charlotta Öberg from PRISMA Cross-Cultural Consultants and Gregory Garretson, PhD in linguistics. Charlotta Öberg is an expert on cultural diversity and intercultural communications, and is an internationally sought-after lecturer on the subject. Gregory Garettson has decades of experience as a language teacher, including several years as a senior lecturer at the Department of English at Uppsala University.
