Working hour schedule

Working hour schedule is important to ensure that sickness deductions, vacation days etc are correct. If you are part-time employed and do not work five days a week, or have irregular working hours, you must complete a working hour schedule and submit this to the Payroll Unit.

Submit a schedule – how to

Technical and administrative staff (T/A staff) that work concentrated part-time during a longer period than one month should report their working hour schedule on a form submitted to the Payroll Unit, see link in the right column. This can also be submitted via e-mail to lon@uu.se. This does not apply if you have a position as a teacher.

New and altered schedules for longer periods than one month should be submitted to the Payroll Unit as soon as they are known. Shorter periods than one month should not be reported to the Payroll Unit. Instead, you and your nearest manager are responsible for ensuring that the working time is completed.

Standardised regular schedule

Should your working time in a part-time position vary extensively, it may be difficult to create a schedule that shows the actual working hours. In such cases, we recommend a standardised regular schedule, i.e. the same number of working hours every day (similar to the way advised for part-time teachers).

Important with a correctly reported working hour schedule

It is important that the correct working hour schedule is reported. Leave or vacation decisions regarding days that you do not work cannot be closed in the payroll system. Sickness deductions and vacation day calculations can also be wrong. This can lead to additional work for the people involved and at worst, you may receive a wrong salary payment.
