About the course
The course covers design, implementation, and evaluation of network simulations and applications, reasoning about networking challenges, with a strong emphasis on mathematical modeling for the evaluation and development of efficient protocols. Core topics include the Internet protocol suite, network programming, simulation, measurement techniques, and future network architectures, with additional focus on ongoing trends in the area. A practical part consists of labs covering network programming as well as simulation or modeling of computer networks.
