About the course
The course explores the various stages and actors in a wind energy project's life cycle, which includes logistics, installation, operation and dismantling. Required project management is included and the planning tools WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and GANTT are introduced. Various operational and maintenance strategies, and related contracts, insurance and warranties are studied and risk factors are analysed.
Outline for distance course: The course is given as a net-based course. Assignments are submitted in the e-classroom on internet and the student will receive personal feedback by the teacher. A forum for discussion is available. To participate in the course you will need a computer with internet connection.
The course is in English but written hand-in assignments can be submitted in Swedish.
