About the course

The course covers fundamental energy concepts including electricity generation via both conventional and renewable energy sources. The course provides students with tools for analyzing energy sources by their environmental, economic, and social impacts. Environmental impacts discussed include climate change, air and water pollution, and effects on biodiversity.

Outline for distance course: The course is given as a net-based course. Assignments are submitted in the e-classroom online and you will receive personal feedback from the teacher. The course also includes other mandatory exercises. A forum for discussion is available.
