Alt 1. 120 credits within the Master's Programme in Molecular Biotechnology Engineering, including Biotechnical Methodology, Genomics and Bioinformatics, and Scientific Computing for Data Analysis. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6. Alt 2. 120 credits including Introduction to Bioinformatics, Computer Programming I, Introduction to Statistics for Life Sciences and Computational Methods for Scientific Applications. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6. Alt 3. 120 credits including Introduction to Bioinformatics, Introduction to Statistics for Life Sciences and Introduction to Molecular Biology, Genetics and Evolution. About the course

In this course, you will get an introduction to methods in proteomics and metabolomics. You will practice strategies for analysis of raw data generated with e.g. mass spectrometry-based methods. The course also includes basic comparative proteomics and metabolomics, experimental design and the use of database resources for result interpretation.
