About the course

The course provides an introduction to a number of modern methods and techniques in applied mathematics through examples inspired by applied subject areas. The course deals with for example dynamical systems, perturbation methods, calculus of variation, introduction to partial differential equations, Sturm-Liouville problems and eigenfunction expansions, integral equations.
