About the course
The course Functional Analysis with Applications generalises the theory of linear algebra and analysis to infinite-dimensional vector spaces, especially Banach spaces and Hilbert spaces.
The course covers, among other things, the theory of functionals and operators, fixed-point and spectral methods, and modern applications of these in, for example, the theory of partial differential equations, signal processing, and machine learning.
