About the course

In this course, you will learn how to approximate numerically the equations used to calculate the future weather. You will also learn on how to practically run a numerical weather model and how to treat the results using MATLAB.

The course can be taken in parallel with the course Climatology and Climatological Methods, 5 credits, or Numerical Modelling of the Atmosphere II, 5 credits.
