About the course
This course describes pollution control methods applied in non-renewable energy production, fossil fuels, waste power plants (WTEP), incineration, gasification, exhaust gases from road and marine ship engines, etc. Exhaust post-treatment by catalysis and new plasma assisted techniques, such as plasma conversion of CO2, NOx, SO2, hydrocarbons, reduction of particulate matter, as well as material aspects of renewable energy and the recycling of diesel exhaust are presented.
