About the course
The course trains you in basic research work, scientific writing, the application of suitable research methods, critical evaluation of sources and a seminar to defend your study. This is a limited independent research task with a duration of approximately eight to ten weeks. This work ends up with a scientific report of 30-40 pages of typed text. Professional supervision is given continuously.
The basic task is to solve a well-defined delimited research problem within a wider economic historical context by applying well-established scientific methods and, when applicable, making use of theoretical frameworks.
