Bachelor's degree (180 credits) with Food Science and Nutrition as the main field of study, a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics or equivalent.

About the course
This course address methodological aspects within the research field of food studies, nutrition and dietetics. You will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and skills related to a specific method of your own choice, within the field. The background and application of the selected method, as well as its strengths and weaknesses in relation to various research questions, are deepened by writing a literature review. This process also includes written and oral presentations and seminars. In parallel to focusing on a specific method, more general methodological issues within the field will also be discussed.
Outline for distance course: The course is completely web based and is held though the university's digital learning platform. The teaching involves, for example, recorded lectures, forum discussions, seminars and an independent project with presentation. The course has three to five meetings/days online.
