A Bachelor's degree with Indology as the main field of study. Also required is Translation Theory with a Focus on Translation to/from Arabic, Hindi, Kurdish, Persian, Turkish, 7.5 credits, or Translation Science, 7.5 credits.

About the course
You carry out a literary translation project into Swedish or English from Hindi, Urdu, or Sanskrit, or into Hindi from Swedish or English.
Outline of distance course: The course is IT-based and taught via the university’s learning platform Studium and the video platform Zoom. Access to a computer with internet connection, webcam and microphone is required to follow the course.
