About the course
Have you ever wondered about the process of learning a new language? Why is it easier to learn some things while others take more practice and guidance? Can you become as fluent in a new language as your first language? Are some teaching methods more effective than others? This course gives you the answers to these questions and more by exploring learning pronounciation, grammar and vocabulary.
We focus mainly on learning the Swedish language but we also cover other languages such as English. During the course you will actively work with practical assignments like analysis of learners linguistic production and assessment of the factors that explain differences between learner comprehension levels. Further, you will get the chance to observe a lesson in Swedish as a second language to discuss the didactic methods that are used.
This is a joint course with Swedish as a Second Language A.
