About the course

The course provides a broad understanding of the depiction of the human form. You will gain knowledge about form, volume, perspective and anatomy, as well as how to make use of hues, light and shade. We will study the construction and anatomy of the human head as well as the major muscles and learn how to use them in character design. The course includes teacher-led model studies and theoretical elements which will provide both in-depth knowledge and useful tools for future studies.

The first week starts intensively on-campus, week 25 (June 15), then on-campus weeks alternate with distance work weeks and ends week 34 (August 23). The mandatory weeks on campus are weeks 25, 28 och 32.
