– As a mature student commuting from Örebro, my student life exudes a quiet yet consistent rhythm. I cherish regular catch-ups with campus friends via WhatsApp, maintaining a sense of connection despite the distance.

What is your goal with the education?
– I aspire to leverage this education to establish a thriving company contributing to advancing sexual health initiatives.

What advice and tips would you like to give to a person who is considering applying for the programme?
– 1: Dive into class sessions – that's where the real magic unfolds. 2: Forge meaningful connections with your peers – you'll be amazed by the brilliant minds surrounding you. 3: If an internship is on your radar, don't procrastinate – start applying early to secure the best opportunities.

– For me, it's upstairs at Expresso House in the centre – the space has a sweet vibe!

What is the best thing about studying at Uppsala University?
– The diversity among my fellow students is exhilarating. Coming from various backgrounds and countries, they bring a wealth of perspectives to our discussions, enriching our learning experience.

What is most challenging?
– One challenge I encountered was the requirement for Swedish language proficiency in many business-related jobs in Sweden. To overcome this, I dove into Swedish classes turning the learning process into an adventure of its own!

What are three things on the schedule this week?
– Busy week ahead! Crucial meetings for my thesis and business plan at Uppsala University Innovation, exploring Uppsala's nations on the weekend, and squeezing in some gym time to stay energised!

– Uppsala boasts a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, with hubs like the Uppsala Innovation Center, Uppsala University Innovations and Drivhuset buzzing with engaging events and programs. It's a fantastic environment for networking and nurturing business ideas, creating a dynamic student life experience.

Why do you study, what is your goal with your studies?
– To create a meaningful impact by collaborating with startups, incubators, or established organisations to drive innovation and entrepreneurship, ultimately benefiting communities and society as a whole.

– Prepare thoroughly by familiarising yourself with the course content, get your CV in top shape, and jump on internship opportunities early. This programme offers an excellent platform for internships and developing business plans, so make the most of it from day one!
