The course is an optional course and can be taken on advanced level.

Entry requirements

To be accepted to the course there is a requirement to have fulfilled the requirements for Bachelors Degree in Educational Sciences or three years of studies in a Teacher Training Programme.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course the student will have the knowledge to:

  • describe and analyse a phenomenon within educational sciences of the students own interest.
  • Content

  • An individual study of one educational phenomenon within educational sciences based on how the specific phenomenon is handled and organised within the Swedish educational system
  • Instruction

    The instruction consists of tutoring.

    Assessment

    Written paper to be evaluated regarding the amount of analysis made. Grades are awarded according the scale passed with distinction, passed or failed and according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
