On completion of the course, the student shall be able to:

  • in groups, plan and implement an industrial development project based on goals, method and schedule,
  • seek, apply and report in-depth and broadened knowledge in industrial engineering and other relevant technology areas to complete the project,

Content

Projects are in the form of an industrial development project that is requested from a company or organisation. Each project seeks to integrate technical and economic aspects. Project work should preferably involve contacts in business. Each team is supported by teachers with competence in both technology and industrial management.

Project work in a group, seminars and lectures.

Assessment

Active participation in the planning and implementation of the project, as well as seminars. Oral and written presentation of project work. Opposition to another project work. Written individual assignments.

If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the disability coordinator of the university.
