Entry requirements
120 credit and 60 credits at Master's level in Wind Power Project Management. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to give an opportunity to develop a strong foundation for professional employment in wind power project management.
On completion of the course, the student should be able to:
- describe the host company or institutions activities in terms of wider significance, objectives and strategy, societal impact, organisation and regulations
- demonstrate the ability to constructively receive instruction and cooperate with the supervisor and other staff at the work place
- independently perform relevant tasks, apply advanced knowledge and methods in the working context within wind power project management
- reflect on her/his strengths and weaknesses in the work role as well as preferences
- clearly present and reflect upon the work experience orally and in writing
Content
Participate in the daily work tasks for the host company or institution under the guidance of a supervisor. The tasks must be related wind power project management. The course will allow a student to apply the knowledge gained during the programme in all stages of a wind power project. This can includes activities from the initial steps in site prospecting all the way to decommissioning and repowering. The student will be given the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in real cases in working context.
Instruction
Lectures, seminars and internships.
Assessment
Written and oral assignments and active participation in seminars and internship (10 credits). Project report and presentations (5 credits).
If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the disability coordinator of the university.
