The Department of Peace and Conflict Research extends a warm invitation to students at the department to attend the first lecture in a new annual lecture series, which honors the department’s founder, Professor Peter Wallensteen.

The lecture will take place on 20 May at 14.15 in the Humanities Theatre, Uppsala. Professor Mary Ellen O’Connell from the Kroc Institute will give a talk titled “AI for Peace”. A reception will follow.
