General provisions
The course is an independent course for second-cycle students. The credits for the course can be used in the degree certificate or as part of the Diploma Supplement.
Entry requirements
A Bachelor's degree with Turkic languages as the main field of study.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing the internship covering at least 18 weeks (3 months) at a diplomatic representation, organisation or institute related to Turkey or another Turkic-speaking country the student is able to:
- write a CV;
- carry out a job application;
- use the main language in practical asignments in a for the work adequate way;
- handle daily tasks related to the country or the region that the internship intends;
- account for the work at a workplace related to the country or region that the duty intends.
Instruction
The teaching consists of practical training. The student's own learning activities are crucial for the result.
Assessment
Examination is conducted through a short PM. In addition, a certificate from the employer is required.
If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the University's disability coordinator.
Other directives
The student in consultation with a teacher in the subject is responsible to find approprate placement and carry out the application process. The placement must be verified with an agreement signed by the department.
