Entry requirements: 120 credits including (1) 80 credits physics and mathematics, or (2) 60 credits earth science, 15 credits mathematics and 15 credits physics. Introduction to the Physics and Dynamics of the Earth, 5 credits. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course
The course will provide you with an advanced understanding in plate tectonics and the large scale structure of the Earth as well as localising earthquakes and the shape and rotation of the Earth. Geomagnetism, isostasy and wave propagation is also studied.
