About the course

Overview of problems and applications of robotics. Kinematics and dynamics for robotic arms and mobile robots, variables for describing robotic motion. Common detectors and actuators for robots with an overview of research and development in the area. Communication systems for robots. Programming of robot systems and analysis of robotic control systems. Personal and machine safety. Multiphysical robot simulation tool (Robot studio). Introduction to mobile robots. Motion control. Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially deterministic AI for governance and planning as well as an introduction to stochastic AI with image analysis and object identification. Positioning and navigation. Seeing and social robots. Presentation skills.
