You are warmly invited to a Lunch & Learn seminar, A tale of broken constants, with Eliel Camargo-Molina from the Department of Game Design.

Computers are solving long-standing problems in maths while artists watch their work disappear into training data without consent. Drawing on anecdotes from the boundaries across disciplines, Eliel will discuss what can happen when a leap in technology starts breaking the constants that quietly organise how we learn, research and make things.

Some of those constants should probably break. Others may be doing more for us than we realise. The difficult part is knowing which is which — and how much room we still have to shape what comes next.

We will be providing a lunch salad, and as we need to know how many to order, please register for the seminar via this link no later than Monday 31 August.

Welcome!
