Centrum för klinisk forskning

The Västmanland Center for Clinical Research (CKF) was established in 1999 through an agreement between Uppsala University and the then Västmanland County Council. The collaboration applies to research, postgraduate training and basic training of doctors. Through the agreement, research in Västmanland is strengthened and the clinical base for Uppsala University is broadened, which improves the conditions for both research and undergraduate education. The operations are followed up every three years. CKF belongs to the Regional Office, whose operations are led by the Regional Director in Region Västmanland. CKF's day-to-day operations are led by its director and supported by the Central Council, where representatives of Uppsala University and Region Västmanland sit. The Center Council meets twice a year.
