Networks
Medical humanities is an internationally well-established field, with roots in an Anglo-Saxon context. In recent years, several medical humanities initiatives have been taken in Sweden. In addition to Uppsala University, there are now centers around medical humanities both at Linköping University, and Lund University. In 2022, CMH started a Swedish network for researchers in medical humanities in Sweden, SNMH, with the aim of establishing an understanding of what medical humanities means in a Nordic context.
CMH has ongoing collaborations with several international actors in the medical humanities field, such as Durham, Ghent and Bonn.
