Research Network on Gender-Based Violence and Domestic Violence and Abuse

This network brings together researchers from different parts of Sweden who work on gender-based violence and domestic violence and abuse.
The network meets twice a year to learn from one another and to build connections that advance research. Its aim is to avoid fragmentation within the field and to identify both gaps and overlaps in the research being conducted across the country. Meetings are held at various higher education institutions and focus on a variety of themes.
The network connects researchers at different stages of their careers, from a range of disciplines. The network’s activities and points of contact will form the basis for increased research collaboration and for the establishment of a permanent national network after the conclusion of the funding period.
The network is funded by Forte’s network grants for 2025–2027.
