Enrico Baraldi studies why antibiotics that already exist become hard to get hold of, and what policy can do about it. His work spans shortages, supply chains and the economics of a market that stopped rewarding antibiotic development.

Analysis of causes behind antibiotic shortages and policy-related solutions to address antibiotic shortages across supply chains

RAN-P (Re-organizing Antibiotics Networks via Policies), Research Council funded

Analysis of structure and weaknesses of antibiotic R&D and supply networks followed by identification and simulation of policy effects on these networks to improve innovation and improve access.
