Biography
Nina was born and raised in Mönchaltorf, Switzerland. She did her bachelor and master studies in chemistry at the University of Zurich. Her master thesis work was performed in the group of Roger Alberto and she obtained her MSc degree in early 2020. Her work thereby focused on the development of a mixed-aromatic ring sandwich complex library starting from a fulvene-benzene-type Rhenium complex and a variety of nucleophiles. In June 2020 she joined Sascha Ott's group at the University of Uppsala as a PhD student to investigate electrocatalytic applications of metal-organic frameworks.
