The Earth System Governance (ESG) Project's annual conference 2027 will be hosted by Uppsala University.
The ESG Project aims to explore political solutions and novel, more effective governance systems to cope with global environmental change and help understand, imagine and realise just and sustainable futures. By mobilising scholars from the social sciences and humanities, as well as interdisciplinary fields, its mission is to stimulate a vibrant, pluralistic, and relevant research community.
